Veteran Nigerian actor Segun Remi, widely known as Chief Kanran, has died at the age of 72.
The news was confirmed on Friday morning by filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi, who announced his passing on Instagram. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Chief Kanran was a familiar face in the Yoruba film industry, recognized for his unique style and decades of work across stage plays and Nollywood productions.
