Media personality Toke Makinwa has finally satisfied her fans’ curiosity by announcing the gender of her unborn child. In a video shared on Instagram, she revealed that she is expecting a baby girl.
“I couldn’t wait to find out the gender of my baby, I wanted a very intimate gender reveal and that’s what I did. Went to my top 3 stores and bought presents that represented the color of the gender. I decided to put together this precious moment to share with you online Uncle and Aunties…” she explained.
Instead of the usual balloons or confetti, Makinwa opted for a stylish twist. She used the unboxing of a designer bag, symbolizing the color associated with her baby’s gender, as her special reveal moment.
Makinwa recently shared the joyous news that she is expecting her first child, describing the experience as the “biggest project” and “highest calling” of her life.
In an Instagram post, Makinwa reflected on how 2025 has brought a complete turnaround in her life, calling it the fulfillment of a prophetic declaration she made at the start of the year.
“Dear God, you did this one, you have completely changed my life. You opened this door that nobody can shut,” she wrote.
She expressed gratitude for the divine timing of the blessing, noting that the journey had taught her patience and faith.
“I didn’t understand why it took so long but now I see it. You worked on my heart posture to get me ready for the biggest blessing and the highest calling,” she said, adding that she hopes her testimony will inspire others.
Addressing her unborn child, Makinwa’s words were filled with affection and anticipation. “My bug, I cannot wait to meet you. You’ve made me the happiest person on earth… The answer to my prayers, this whole journey has given me life,” she shared.
