Don’t be intimidated; step out and vote massively for NPP—Jeff Konadu to Akwatia constituents

Easter Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jeff Konadu, has allayed the fears of Akwatia constituents, urging them to step out and vote massively for the political party.

He believes that victory in the Akwatia by-election is within reach, and therefore, they should not be afraid of intimidation.

Jeff Konadu was addressing party faithful after the August 17, 2025, unity walk in the constituency.

“I want to assure you that you will be safe. What is expected of you is to go out there and let your family members and everyone who votes here know that they are safe and will not be intimidated. They should step out in their numbers and vote for the NPP to win the Akwatia by-election,” he told the charged crowd at the party’s office in Akwatia.

He continued, “The seat belongs to us, but these people want to use every means possible to take it away from us. They harassed Ernest Kumi until his death. They claimed Okoyo had won the main election, so why did they not allow him to contest automatically when Ernest died and the party had to choose a parliamentary candidate if they claim they won the 2024 election in Akwatia?”

The Eastern Regional Chairman reminded the party faithful not to be swollen-headed because they have the advantage, but continue to work harder to ensure that the party wins the elections.
