The manner of my arrest shows a personal vendetta – Sir Obama Pokuase

Sir Obama Pokuase has spoken out about what he describes as an unfair and aggressive raid by security personnel that led to his recent arrest.
Speaking on Asempa FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, he recounted how officers stormed his residence at dawn and forcibly took him to the police headquarters.
According to him, the officers demanded access to his phone and instructed him to provide his password.
“They went into my Facebook account and found a video which they claim was the basis for my arrest,” he explained.
He questioned the approach taken by the authorities, insisting that he would have cooperated if invited formally.
“If the public needed my assistance with the investigation, I could have been called to cooperate.
“But the way they treated me shows that this is not about the law, it is a personal vendetta,” he stated.
Sir Obama Pokuase described the ordeal as demeaning and unjust. “The way I was dragged and taken to the station made me feel like a criminal,” he lamented.
When asked if he intended to sue the Ghana Police Service for the alleged destruction of his belongings during the raid, he declined to commit to legal action.
“I will leave everything to fate. Posterity will be the judge,” he said.
