Spiritual duo Mystic Twins have waded into the controversial National Cathedral project, making a bold claim that the abandoned site has spiritually embarrassed both God and Mother Earth.
They argued that the uncompleted project has created not only a national shame but also a spiritual burden on Ghana.
“Go to where they are built, the way they were supposed to be, with the National Cathedral—where they dug the hole. Cleanse it, because you have embarrassed God.
“You have embarrassed Mother Earth,” they declared in an interview on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh.com
When pressed to clarify who exactly has embarrassed God, they explained that the responsibility lies with the presidency as an institution, not just an individual.
“The previous president was in the seat; the president is the seat. So whoever comes on it, you have inherited a pact,” they said.
They further suggested that President John Dramani Mahama, upon assuming office, did not only inherit economic and governance challenges but also a spiritual problem tied to unfinished national projects.
“President Mahama did not inherit just bad economy and bad governance and whatever from our former president.
“He inherited a spiritual problem as well. And the spiritual problem is evidence of it, that’s on our TV,” they stated.
