Seidu Fiter picks nomination forms to contest Tamale Central NDC Parliamentary Primaries

Dr. Seidu Mohammed Fiter has officially picked his nomination forms to contest in the Tamale Central National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary primaries, pledging to continue the legacy of the late Honourable Murtala Mohammed.
Speaking after picking the forms, Dr. Fiter described Honourable Murtala’s death as “untimely and unexpected,” noting that it came at a moment when the people of Tamale Central still needed his leadership.
“If he were alive and not contesting, he would have wanted me to take up the mantle and lead the people,” Dr. Fiter said.
He emphasized his deep roots in the constituency and long-standing service to the party.
“I know I am the best candidate. I have taken the grassroots, I have served the political party with my life, resources, and everything.
“The grassroots know me very well, and I am coming to continue from where Honourable Murtala Mohammed left,” he added.
Dr. Fiter described the collection of the nomination forms as the “beginning of victory,” expressing confidence that it would bring joy both to the late Honourable Murtala Mohammed and to the NDC supporters in Tamale Central.
“I know the first sign is that after picking this form, he will be smiling in his grave. That his brother, someone he mentored, someone who would have wanted to succeed him, has taken the form,” he said.
He concluded by assuring supporters that this step marks the start of a campaign that will unite the grassroots and celebrate the values of the late MP.
