Kwasi Sibo and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s absence from Black Stars squad explained

Communications Manager for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, has explained why Kwasi Sibo and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku were left out of Otto Addo’s squad for the encounters against Chad and Mali.
According to him, the technical team has taken notice of Kwasi Sibo’s exploits and is on their radar; however, they opted to maintain the core team following recent performances against Chad and Madagascar.
He explains that Kwasi Sibo will have his day, considering the fact that he is being monitored by the technical team.
On Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, the Communications Manager of the FA, explained that the technical team is pleased to see him back in action.
However, given the circumstances surrounding his long layoff, they are cautious about rushing his return.
He explained that the medical teams from Ghana and Leicester City have had extensive discussions about the player and have decided to give him time.
He further explained that one reason for this cautious approach is that the upcoming match’s AstroTurf pitch in N’jamena may not be suitable for Issahaku’s return following his recent ACL injury.
