Youth groups in the Kintampo South District are being empowered to combat corruption in Ghana.

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and GIZ, a German-based NGO, Co-founded by the European Union, have gathered over 100 young people from the Kintampo South District to educate them on strategies to tackle corruption in the country.
Speaking on the theme “The Rule of Law and the Fight Against Corruption,” Mr. Isaac Osei Agyeman, the director of the NCCE, emphasized the importance of instilling knowledge about combating corruption in the youth, as they represent the future of the nation.
Mr. Osei Agyeman took the opportunity to urge state institutions to collaborate in the fight against corruption, highlighting that tackling this issue is a collective responsibility.
