I was a Chemistry and Physics teacher before chasing my dreams — Peace Hyde

Media entrepreneur and executive producer Peace Hyde has opened up about her personal journey of courage and creativity, urging others not to abandon their dreams out of fear of criticism.
Hyde reflected on her evolution from teaching to media production. “…You will never influence the world trying to be like it!
“When you create something new or bring change into the world you’re bound to be questioned and even criticized.
“Challenging the rules is hard! We get so caught up in the fear of others’ reactions that we abandon our creativity and ideas,” she wrote on social media as sighted by MyNewsGh.
She revealed that it took years of courage to move from being a Chemistry and Physics teacher to a journalist, and eventually into creating and executive producing.
“It took me years to build up the courage to evolve from a Chemistry and Physics teacher into a Journalist and now into Creating and Executive Producing.
“Just like it took an immense amount of courage to launch my biggest production so far on #Netflix #YoungFamousAndAfrican….I was shaking in my core throughout every season,” she confessed.
Despite the doubts, Hyde reminded herself that life is too short to hold back. “But I kept telling myself that I only had one shot at this life and while I’m here I want to become my best self while creating platforms for incredible individuals (in front and behind the camera) to shine on the global stage while positively impacting and changing their lives,” she explained.
She ended her post with words of encouragement to anyone facing their own battles. “So if you are looking for a sign friend THIS IS IT! Lock in! The challenge you are facing is simply the test to see if you are who you say you are! DON’T FOLD,” Hyde declared.
