Radio personality Nana Romeo holds the view that the presidential media encounter was a gathering of friends.
According to him, persons in charge of organizing the encounter just handpicked their friends for the encounter.
He believes that is why there were no probing questions from media personalities to the president of Ghana.
“What was the criteria for selecting journalists for the media encounter? I am not saying those who went there are NDC, but what I am saying is that the organizers just gathered their friends who will not ask probing questions,” he said.
To Nana Romeo, the NDC, while in opposition, made several promises for the creative arts industry, but not much has been seen of them.
To him, four years is a stone throw away and if they fail to deliver on their promises, they will be held accountable when the time is due.
