NPP is nothing to write home about; we must fix it

Former Deputy Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission, Musah Superior, is of the view that the New Patriotic Party is currently in disarray.

He says the party needs fixing from the top to make it attractive again.

Musah Superior made this known in a post he shared via social media on his political future.

He explains that he will speak to calls on whether he will be contesting for a national position later as he is currently focused on supporting Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to win the flagbearership race.

His post read “Several NPP folks across the country have been asking whether, l will contest for a national office of the NPP. They say, l have been silent on the National Executives elections. Some say, they are looking forward for an appearance of hope and optimism.

My answer is this:

I always desire to serve our great party. Service to our party is part of my “DNA”. The current state of the party is nothing to write home about. We must fix it! My priority now; is to support and work for DMB to secure a strong mandate as our 2028 flagbearer. I will announce my decision to seek or not seek for an elective role in the first week of February, 2026.

I hope this settles the anxiety”.
