The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Ocloo, is touting her accomplishments, as she believes her work has exceeded expectations.
He recalls the doubts cast on her tenure by naysayers who thought men came to the ministry and failed, so she has nothing different to offer as Greater Accra Regional Minister.
To her, she has proven her mettle and deserves some flowers for the work she’s done in the past eight months as Greater Accra Regional Minister.
“When my name was mentioned, people cast doubts on my ability to deliver just because I am a woman. They said men have come and failed, and so I cannot win. But today, I’ve proven to them that I fit the bill,” she told Adom FM.
She said she has been mandated to ensure Accra is clean and also to protect the interest of the country with specific reference to Greater Accra, ensuring that the right things are done to protect the lives of the people and the interest of the country.
“Although I sympathize especially with the people who have built on the Ramsyer sites, I hold the strong view that I am doing the demolition for the greater good of the country. We can’t keep building in waterways, and when there is flood, we will blame the government.”
