I worked as a driver’s mate to support my mother – Ambassador TV’s Osei Kojo

Youtuber and owner of Ambassador TV, Mr. Godfred Osei Kojo, popularly known as Ambassador, has shared his life story in an interview with Akoto Mansa on the Asetena Pa show.

He spoke about his rise from obscurity to stardom, emphasizing how his difficult childhood shaped his determination to succeed.

“My parents’ divorce made things worse for me,” he revealed. “My single mother, who was into cosmetics, got into trouble with banks after taking loans to support her business.”

Ambassador said the family lived in fear of debt collectors. “Sometimes my mother had to leave home very early to hide in the bush so the police wouldn’t arrest her,” he recounted.

According to him, these struggles inspired his resolve. “I decided to be determined in life so I could give my mom a good life,” he stressed.

Although he passed well in Senior High School, he explained that financial challenges prevented him from continuing his education. “I couldn’t go further after SHS because there was no money,” he said.

Instead, he turned to various trades to support his mother and pay off debts. “I went into petty trading, I was a susu collector, and even a driver’s mate,” Ambassador recalled. “I did all these things to make sure I offset my mom’s debts and give her a better life.”
