NDC Chairman Urges Party Unity Amid Appointment Processes

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has called on party members to maintain unity and avoid internal divisions, even as the party continues to fill government positions under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.

Addressing branch and constituency executives, ward coordinators, former party officials, cadres, and Assembly members in the Asuogyaman Constituency, Asiedu Nketiah emphasized the importance of discipline and cohesion.

“If we do what we want with the positions we have gotten, our party will be divided like the NPP’s. But I know that will never happen,” he said.

The chairman also criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what he described as internal conflict over leadership ambitions.

“What NPP is now doing is a contest to hell. The flagbearer aspirants are criticising each other and are enumerating the sins and faults of each other,” he noted, using it as a cautionary example for NDC members.
