NPP criticizes NDC’s ‘Nkoko Nketekete’ project, accuses govt of lacking vision

A leading communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Jones Nyamesem, has sharply criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC), claiming the ruling party lacks vision and has failed to deliver meaningful development to Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV, Mr. Nyamesem said, “I have always maintained since the NDC won the election that they had no vision for Ghanaians.”
He further slammed the government for what he described as “misplaced priorities,” highlighting the recent launch of the “Nkoko Nketekete” project as an example.
“Meanwhile, the NDC in their first September in office is launching the ‘Nkoko Nketekete’ project, and just look at the cost involved. This should tell you the kind of governance we are talking about,” he said.
According to Mr. Nyamesem, initiatives like the “Nkoko Nketekete” project indicate that the NDC is focusing on projects that do not align with pressing national needs, questioning the administration’s priorities and commitment to long-term development.
