I weep for the next phase of NDC—Koku Anyidoho

Former Deputy General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, says he weeps for the next phase of the NDC after John Dramani Mahama.
Dr. Tony Aidoo, in an interview with Radio Gold, remarked that he doesn’t want to be alive to see the next phase of the NDC.
“I don’t want to be here. Maybe by the time it comes to that point, I’ll be gone,” he said when asked about his thoughts on Mahama’s eventual successor.
Pressed further, Dr. Aidoo added, “No, I don’t want to… I’m old, though. I try, but I’m old. God has been good to me, but I wouldn’t mind if He takes me today.”
Reacting to the remarks of the NDC stalwart, Koku Anyidoho said he weeps for the governing politcal party and what it will become in the next phase.
To him, Dr Tony Aidoo has seen what will become of the party and is clearly not happy about it hence his plea not to be around when the party goes into its next phase.
His tweet read “He doesn’t want to live to see the next phase of the NDC ? He wants to depart before that happens? Obviously …! Very sad and touching. One of the pillars of the NDC. Hmmmmmmmm!!! I am weeping silently in my heart because I can feel what he feels. Hmmmmmmmmmm!!!!”.
