I will win the election

NPP presidential hopeful, Bryan Acheampong has expressed strong confidence in his chances of winning the upcoming NPP presidential elections slated for January 2026, citing widespread support from his constituents in the Eastern Region.

“As I mentioned earlier, I do feel the whole community has almost supported it, it’s okay.

“But I know that the whole differential people, the people in the Eastern Region, do support it,” Acheampong told his fan base during a recent interaction.

“And I’m going to win the election. Let me tell you. I’m going to win the election. I’m going to win the election.”

The former minister emphasized the importance of focusing on political power.

Acheampong’s statement comes just days after fifteen Members of Parliament from the Eastern Region publicly endorsed former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate for the 2028 general elections.

Speaking at a press conference in Nkawkaw on Wednesday, the MPs highlighted the growing appeal of Bawumia’s policy ideas, which they argue have been validated since the 2024 elections.

“After all the propaganda hurled against the NPP in the 2024 elections, it is becoming clear day by day that Bawumia was right in many of the things he proposed,” the MPs said.

“Now is the time when more Ghanaians are warming up to his ideas. Changing him will be setting ourselves back by another 16 years.”
