Ghanaians now trust their elected officials have the interest of the country at heart

President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has indicated that there is a renewed willingness among the Ghanaian people to trust that their elected officials have Ghana’s interest at heart.
He made this known while speaking at the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, September 25.
“There is a renewed willingness among our people to trust that their elected officials have Ghana’s interest at heart and that we are progressing together,” he said.
The President mentioned that since taking office, his government has reset the Ghanaian economy, which, hitherto, this period was nothing to write home about.
