Leaving me out of Rapperholic is disrespectful — Showboy bites Sarkodie

Ghanaian socialite-turned-musician Showboy has launched a sharp public attack on rapper Sarkodie, accusing him of showing favoritism in the music industry and unfairly excluding him from one of Ghana’s biggest concerts.
In a video posted on X on September 26, 2025, an emotional Showboy lashed out:
“You only help people who have low self-esteem. Those who humble themselves to you. I am a boss on my own; that is why you can’t bring such stupid things to my door.”
He claimed Sarkodie had attempted to sideline him by giving attention only to artists he can control, referencing the annual Rapperholic concert series as evidence of this pattern.
“That is why you are bringing Kwaku Smoke and other young artistes to your Rapperholic. I have seen you don’t respect me, so there is no way I will respect you again,” Showboy asserted.
He expressed deep disappointment at being left out.
“What will you show me, Sarkodie? I respect your brother because of his help; that is why I have been quiet all this time. But for you to do Rapperholic and not include me is a total disrespect,” he said.
Rapperholic, Sarkodie’s flagship concert brand, is set to take place on September 27, 2025 at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi under the theme “The Homecoming.”
The concert has already announced a star-studded lineup including artists like Kwaku Smoke and
