Former Constituency Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Fomena, Mr Kwasi Nti, has issued a barrage of stern warnings to elements in the NPP who are planning to remove the General Secretary just as they did to Kwabena Agyepong some years ago.
According to him, any attempt to undermine the General Secretary, Justin Kodua, will not be given the energy and will not be encouraged.
“Now they are trying to attack our General Secretary. They should forget it because he is our representative as Ashanti people in the party. The way they removed Kwabena Agyepong, they cannot do the same with Justin Kodua because we will resist it with all our might,” he said.
Chairman Kwasi Nti expressed worry over the conduct of especially Kwame Bafoe, known popularly as Abronye, indicating that his insulting posture and the kinds of people he attacks has made the NPP an unttractive brand.
“You sit on TV and insult a Man of God. This must not be encouraged. If you insult the man of God, do you think his members will vote for your party? We have had to struggle to get members of some churches to agree to vote for NPP, and so we cannot sit there and watch while Abronye destroys the efforts and results achieved,” he explained.
