Veteran Nollywood actor Duro Michael has reportedly passed away after battling a long-term illness.
The sad news was first shared by Nigerian film producer Stanley Ontop, who confirmed the actor’s demise in a social media post.
According to reports, Michael had been bedridden for some time before his death. While details about the exact cause of death remain unclear, colleagues say he had been struggling with his health in recent months.
Stanley Ontop, in his tribute, stated:
“Nollywood actor Duro Michael has kicked the bucket. He died a few days ago after battling a terminal illness. May his soul rest in peace.”
Michael was a familiar face in Nollywood, remembered for his diverse roles across various films.
