Police commence investgation into armed attack and murder of an Immigration officer at Gbintiri

Police in the North East Region have commenced an investigation into an armed attack on two personnel of the Ghana Immigration Service at Gbintiri near Nalerigu.

A statement from the Service said there is currently a manhunt for the perpetrators of the heinous crime to face the full rigours of the law.

The service used the opportunity to assure the public of bringing persons involved to book, but appealed for information on the culprits to assist the police investigation.
