Sports Levy won’t be a primary source for sports funding—Kofi Adams

Sports Minister Kofi Adams has explained the proposed sports levy.
According to him, the sports levy is not a primary revenue source for sports funding.
He explained that the draft bill is yet to hit my table, adding that the levy is surely going to be one of the sources, but not a primary source.
Kofi Adams provided this explanation to Franklin Cudjoe.
He said “So l asked the sports minister, Hon. Kofi Adams if what this news poster says is true. Here is his answer; “As primary revenue is not true.
The draft bill is yet to hit my table. A levy is surely going to be one of the sources but not primary source. The question is a levy on what??
1. Gate fees of sports and tourism events
2. on proceeds of betting companies etc
3. gaming tickets .”
I then suggested to him thus, ” may any eventual decision be limited to one of the three sources above.”
