God used me to heal a friend — NPP’s Kow Essuman shares

Kow Essuman has shared a deeply personal story about a spiritual experience that strengthened his faith.
The lawyer and NPP member recounted how he prayed for a friend who was unable to walk, and witnessed what he described as a miraculous recovery.
“I think God wanted to show me that He exists,” he said on Starr Chat with Bola Ray, as monitored by MyNewsGh.
“My friend couldn’t walk. He was due for surgery on Tuesday. I went to his house on Saturday, we prayed, and by God’s grace, he was healed.”
The revelation surprised even him. “I was shocked myself,” he told Bola Ray. “When I got home, I told my mother, and she just said, ‘Thank you, Jesus.’”
When asked if the experience had inspired him to go into ministry, Essuman responded that he already sees himself as serving in that capacity.
“We are all ministers of God. I’m a Methodist, and we’re all lay preachers,” he explained.
The presidential aide, known more for his legal expertise than public expressions of faith, added that spirituality remains central to his outlook on life.
“It was a reminder that God is real,” he said quietly.
