Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has congratulated the Black Stars on their qualification to the world cup.
In a social media post, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia reminded the world that Ghana as a football nation is coming not just to join the numbers but to impact the game.
He said “It’s FIFA World Cup number 5!
Congratulations to the Black Stars, for qualifying Ghana to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
We are Ghana! We are coming!”.
Ghana beat Comoros by a lone goal to seal a place in the 2026 World Cup to be played in USA, Canada and Mexico.
The black stars topped their group after winning five matches in the qualifying series.
