The only thank you I received for supporting Bawumia’s 2024 campaign was insults from his team members—Ken Agyapong

New Patriotic Party flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Agyapong has expressed his disgust at the ungratefulness of members of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s team.

According to him, he wholeheartedly supported Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s 2024 campaign.

However, he was not thanked for the work that he did, but rather insults were hurled at him.

Kennedy Agyapong was speaking on Bolgatanga-based Dreamz FM when he made this known.

“Who said I didn’t support Bawumia when I Iost the election? Do you know how much I spent and even thank you? Nobody in Bawumia’s team called to say thank you, but all you get is insults, insulting me,” he said.

Adding that “my son is my witness; wherever I went, I gave the candidate Ghc 100,000, sowing machines, dryers, street light and some Chinese women products, they came to pick it up. Is he aware of that? I am not the one to go out there and say I gave this and I gave that. At least they should have said thank you to me and nobody…but I’m not worried about it and that deception will not help the party”.

To him, such issues prevent losing candidates from supporting candidates who have won and should not be encouraged.
