Bawumia targets a stronger grassroot in NPP’s rebuilding process

Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, holds the view that polling station executives must be empowered.

According to him, if they are empowered, they become strong in of themselves and strong for the party.

He believes that over the years, polling station executives haven’t been given the needed attention in the political party and are only prioritized during election season, which should not be the case.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who was touring the Bono Region, disclosed plans to develop a database for polling station executives

“If they are empowered, they become very strong in of themselves and strong for the party, just not an election season but across the whole time frame, so that we can take care of them. So it’s the empowerment of the grassroots that empowers the party and that ultimately empowers the country,” he said.
