Miracles Aboagye pleads with Kennedy Agyapong to aid NPP rebuilding efforts

Aide to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has made an emotional appeal to Kennedy Agyapong, urging him to help preserve unity within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2028 elections.
Aboagye described Agyapong as “an extremely valuable senior member” whose influence remains vital to the party’s strength in a Facebook page sighted by MyNewsGh.
He, however, cautioned that repeated threats and divisive commentary could once again traumatize the NPP, as witnessed during the 2023 presidential primaries.
“The entire party had to endure and suffer so much from some of these utterances and I’m convinced this time, we would want to be saved from the same trauma going into the 2028 elections,” he wrote.
He recalled previous instances when Agyapong suggested forming a new political movement—the “Abrɔ People’s Party”, after losing the NPP primaries, arguing that such statements only deepened fractures within the party.
“Sir, you are needed by the party just as your competitors are needed and the party can’t be 100% efficient without you, neither would it be 100% efficient when the others also leave it to just you,” he emphasized.
Aboagye pleaded with the outspoken MP to shift focus from threats to collective rebuilding.
“NPP is tired of the pissing in, kindly aide the rebuilding process by saving us from a repeat of the usual,” he said, adding that only unity can restore the party’s strength and competitiveness ahead of the next national elections.
