Pastor Washington offers rehab support to Ghanaian rapper Agbeko

The CEO of the Chosen Rehabilitation Centre, Pastor Washington, has offered to assist rapper Agbeko after his emotional revelation on Hitz FM about his battle with drug addiction.

The pastor, who joined the interview via phone, said it takes divine grace for someone struggling with substance abuse to admit their situation and ask for help.

“There’s no amount of drugs you can smoke in this world that can satisfy you,” he said during interview monitored by MyNewsGh, describing Agbeko’s willingness to seek help as a sign of divine intervention.

He explained that the rehabilitation process would begin with detoxification under medical supervision, followed by counselling, spiritual aid, and skills engagement.

“Chosen Rehab has a recording studio, so when he completes detox, he can record songs that inspire others,” Pastor Washington said.

Andy Dosty, who hosted the show, commended the move and expressed his commitment to support Agbeko’s recovery.

“It must be your will to quit it,” he advised. “Avail yourself for this treatment.”

Agbeko responded that he was ready to begin rehabilitation and appreciated the opportunity for a new beginning. “I’ll be so much appreciative. I’m ready for change any day,” he said.
