The Honourable Member of Parliament for Kintampo North, Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah, was ably represented by Comrade Pascal Dapilla at the Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving Service of the St. Joseph Catholic Church held yesterday.

Delivering a brief remark on behalf of the MP, Mr. Dapilla conveyed Hon. Kumah’s sincere apologies to the congregation for his inability to attend the event in person due to an equally important legislative engagement outside the country.
In his address, he commended the Church for its continuous spiritual and social contributions to the development of the municipality and called on members to remain steadfast in prayer for peace and unity. Referring to the recent youth clashes at Gulumpe, he urged the faithful to intercede for God’s divine intervention to restore calm and cohesion.

He further appealed to the congregation to continue to pray for His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and his appointees, that they may be granted wisdom and guidance in steering the nation towards sustained economic growth and stability.
Highlighting the MP’s commitment to the Church’s development, Mr. Dapilla announced that Hon. Kumah has already fulfilled a pledge of 100 bags of cement, made during the Church’s 90th Anniversary celebration in September this year.
In addition, another 50 bags of cement and a cash donation were pledged on his behalf to further support the Church’s ongoing projects.
