Abronye publicly disrespects former President Kufuor at NPP event—Dr. Richard Anane reveals

Dr. Richard Winfred Anane has disclosed that the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, known popularly as Abronye, disrespected former President John Agyekum Kufour at a party meeting.
According to him, Kufour expressed concerns about the decision of the party to use the bottom-to-the-top approach in electing their leadership.
He also mentioned that the former president expressed concerns about the party’s lack of a chairman since Stephen Ntim is not in a position to lead the party.
However, he explained that John Agyekum Kufour did not sit down well with Abronye, who expressed his views disgustingly, questioning the position expressed by the former president who is an elder of the party.
“The former president said the bottom-to-top approach was not good and that since the party does not have an effective chairman, past chairmen must be put together to see to the running of the political party. Abronye reacted that he does not understand why the former president will make such a suggestion. The acting Chairman apologised to Kufour and said they will look into the issues and get back to him,” he disclosed.
Dr. Richard Winfred Anane expressed shock and questioned Abronye’s role in the establishment of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the impetus to challenge the former president of Ghana.
