The Government of Ghana has announced that the final funeral rites of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025.
The event, according to the government’s statement shared on Thursday, November 6, 2025, will be held at Independence Square in Accra.
The funeral is in recognition of Mrs. Rawlings’ invaluable contributions to the advancement of the rights of women and children in Ghana and national development.
Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings died at the Ridge Hospital on October 23, 2025 after a short illness.
She was survived by four children who are Zanetor, Amina, Yaa Asantewaa and Kimathi Rawlings.
