Kintampo North MP Paid a Courtesy Visit to Dagomba Chief

Yesterday, Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah (Jakala), the esteemed Member of Parliament for Kintampo North, paid a courtesy call on the Kintampo Dagomba Chief, Naa Zakari Musah Baaki….at his palace. This visit was an opportunity for him to express his heartfelt appreciation to the chief during the colourful celebration of this year’s Damba Festival. In brief speech, Hon. Kumah emphasized the importance of continued prayers for the peace and harmony that the Kintampo North Constituency has been fortunate to enjoy.
In another development, the Hon. MP proceeded to the Business Advisory Center, where he carried out an impactful initiative aimed at empowering local craftsmen. He generously donated car repair home kits and essential auto electrical supplies to skilled craftsmen from Magazine, as well as a sewing machine to an aspiring apprentice from the Mansra community. This exercise is part of his ongoing commitment to support local businesses and enhance vocational skills within the constituency.
Hon. Jakala took the opportunity to advise the master craftsmen to effectively utilize the donated materials by teaching their apprentices. He pointed out the importance of knowledge transfer and skill development, encouraging the experienced craftsmen to mentor the younger generation. He reassured those who haven’t received assistance to remain calm, as he has plans for further support and resources to be provided in the near future.
Reiterating his dedication to the progress of Kintampo North, the Hon. MP stated that the development of the constituency is his hallmark and a top priority. He is committed to being a catalyst for growth and improvement in the Constituency, and he encourages all constituents to actively participate in this developmental journey.
Additionally, Hon. Jakala urged his constituency members to spread the word among their family and friends regarding recent job advertisements for positions in the police, prisons, immigration, and fire service sectors. He stressed that eligibility for assistance in these matters begins with the submission of an application, and he encouraged everyone to take this opportunity seriously.
