Ghanaian midfielder Nana Kwame Abraham has throat slit by Katsina United fans in Nigerian League after scoring an equalising goal for Barau FC earlier today.
The fans invaded the pitch, caught him and slit his throat for scoring against them.
Nana Kwame Abraham according to reports in the local media was treated and substituted for the match to proceed.
It is not clear what the Nigerian Football Association will be doing in this regard.
However, the recent attack has deepened the debate on fan violence at stadiums in Africa.
