Ghana is currently searching for higher standards across sectors

Former Energy Minister, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, holds the view that there is a search for high standards in Ghana.

According to him, Ghana currently needs high standards on our roads, in our communities, in public offices, and in civic life.

He made this known when he attended the 13th Commemorative Adua in honour of our late former Vice President, H.E. Aliu Mahama.

To him, Alhaji Aliu Mahama’s call for discipline must be emulated by all.

His post read “Earlier today, I joined H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the National Chief Imam, and distinguished Ghanaians at the 13th Commemorative Adua in honour of our late former Vice President, H.E. Aliu Mahama.

At the ceremony, I was reminded of his powerful call for a disciplined and responsible Ghana. At a moment when our nation is searching for higher standards, his call for discipline, especially on our roads, in our communities, in public office, and in our civic life rings louder than ever.

May his soul continue to rest in peace. And may we commit ourselves to his vision of a Ghana shaped by discipline, unity, and purpose”.
