No time for distractions – Professor Gyampo declares as he visits Elmina Harbour

Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority and a political science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Professor Ransford Gyampo has reaffirmed his commitment to what he describes as Ghana’s national “reset agenda,” stressing that he remains unfazed by attempts to silence him.

In a post shared on social media and sighted by MyNewsGh, Prof. Gyampo revealed that he spent the day working at the Elmina Harbour, engaging directly with workers and fisherfolk. According to him, the focus remains on practical work rather than political noise.

“No time for distractions. Busy working today at the Elmina Habor. Interacting with the workers and the fisher-folks. We would help in resetting Ghana and forcefully defend everything reset,” he stated.

He suggested that there have been repeated attempts to challenge or undermine his efforts, describing them as deliberate but unsuccessful.

“Let them send another person after the weekend failure and we would defeat them once again not by descending into the gutters with them, but by the power and force of our logical, sound and intellectual argument,” he said, stressing that such arguments were qualities his critics “previously had, but now, they lack.”

Prof. Gyampo also accused his detractors of recycling old tactics meant to intimidate him but maintained that such efforts would not succeed.

“Hence their constant rehash of their own failed attempt to silence us. But are we silenceable?” he questioned.

Expressing full confidence in the broader national agenda, he pledged continued support for government efforts he describes as necessary to reposition the country.

“We would help to fully reset Ghana and use that as a basis to vote them even out of opposition into oblivion!” he concluded.
