Aduana Stars has announced the death of two of its fans after the game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
A statement from the football club said, “We are aware of the incident involving some of our fans at Aboaso in the Ashanti Region last night. We regret to announce that two of the fans have lost their lives, and two others are currently on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital responding to treatment.”
The statement further indicated that the club is in constant touch with the families and relevant stakeholders and will provide updates as and when they receive them.
They used the opportunity to wish the bereaved families strength and empathy and those on admission speedy recovery.
