The Diaspora & Religious Affairs Directorate (DRAD) has launched a global weekly fasting and prayer initiative for Kennedy Agyapong, coinciding with the lead-up to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) crucial internal elections.
The program, titled “Fasting & Prayer: One voice, One faith, One victory,” is scheduled to take place every Thursday, starting on Thursday, 20th November 2025.
Supporters worldwide are encouraged to participate from their respective locations to “Pray for Ken.”
This spiritual campaign precedes the NPP’s presidential primaries scheduled for January 2025, where Kennedy Agyapong will compete for the party’s flagbearer position.
He will be contesting against a field of aspirants that includes Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, and Bryan Acheampong.
