Ghanaian actress, Ama K Abebrese has expressed disappointment in Ghana over the appointment of men who have a documented history and allegations of sexual assault.
To her, the appointment of such characters in government sends a bad signal to the world that men can abuse females and be rewarded.
Although she did not mention names, she believes that Ghana is currently sending the wrong signal to the world with some appointments into government and the earlier something is done about it, the better.
Her view shared on social media read “There is no serious country that will appoint men who have a documented history and allegations of sexual assault/sexual harassment against females to high governmental positions.
It sends the message that men can abuse females and be rewarded. Do Better Ghana”.
