Former Managing Director for Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Ltd (BOST), Dr Edwin Provencal, has been granted bail.
Edwin Provencal was arrested at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on Monday, November 10, 2025, by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
Reports indicate that his arrest was in connection with the ongoing investigation into the gold-for-oil programme that took place during the previous government.
He was arrested while attempting to board a flight to Maputo, Mozambique, without the required authorization.
Reports say his bail condition was set at the tune of GH¢60 million with two sureties to justify.
