It has inspired a whole generation

Reggie Rockstone has identified his over 20-year marriage as a profound and intentional part of his legacy, one he believes has actively inspired a younger generation of Ghanaian artists to embrace stable relationships.
“You fail to realize what an example I have been for these young brothers and sisters with my marriage,” Rockstone stated in an interview on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh.
“It has inspired a whole generation.” He noted the visible change in the industry, citing artists like Sarkodie and Stonebwoy who now publicly celebrate their wives. “All of these didn’t just happen cuz it wasn’t cool to be married. So all of these I also put out there and I’m very proud of myself for that.”
He was candid about the effort required to maintain a strong union, stating simply, “Marriage is work,” but quickly emphasized the profound rewards.
“I’m blessed. Some people got money, houses, cars, riches. I’m blessed with a beautiful, loving woman.”
Despite the constant attention from fans and the inherent temptations of show business, Rockstone credited his wife’s unwavering confidence as a cornerstone of their success.
“My wife has to be one of the most confident women I ever met,” he shared. He also outlined his own philosophy: “I am easygoing. If I am with you, I am with you.”
This commitment, he implied, has been as important to his public image as any hit record.
