Gomoa MP commends trade and free zones leadership

Gomoa Central MP Kwame A Plus has publicly acknowledged key government officials he says are driving efforts to establish the Gomoa Central Special Economic Zone (GC-SEZ).
In a detailed post on social media, he expressed gratitude to institutions that, in his words, “understand the urgency, the need to create jobs so our youth don’t die in queues at military recruitment centers.”
He singled out three officials: Dr. Mary Ewusi, CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Authority; Mr. Apau Wiredu Lateef, Deputy CEO of the Authority; and Trade Minister Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare. “From the bottom of my heart: Ayekoo. Thank you,” the MP wrote in a post sighted by MyNewsGh.
He argued that their support demonstrates a non-political commitment to industrialisation. “Those who understand that building factories is not politics but survival,” he emphasised.
With the GC-SEZ positioned as a major job-creation project, A Plus suggested that collaboration between local leadership and national agencies is essential.
“With God and the people on our side, we shall build,” he said.
He further announced a planned milestone in the district’s development agenda, stating: “We shall begin construction of this beautiful entrance on the 1st of December!”
