Lands Ministry honours fallen NAIMOS officer

The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has formally honoured Private Sarfo Agyapong Collins, the NAIMOS officer who died in Tuesday’s operation near the Obuasi Airport enclave.
Earlier today, the sector minister, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, led a delegation to the NAIMOS headquarters to sign the Book of Condolence.

He conveyed President John Mahama’s sympathies to the bereaved family and the entire NAIMOS team, describing the late officer as a courageous patriot whose sacrifice will be remembered.
Four other officers injured in the accident are receiving treatment, and Government has assured continued support as NAIMOS pursues its anti-illegal mining mandate.

The Ministry has invited the public to join the condolence exercise in honour of the fallen officer.
