We get it done – Gabby Otchere-Darko says as ALA marks 10 years

Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has marked a decade of Africa Legal Associates (ALA), highlighting the firm’s Pan-African reach and commitment to world-class legal services.
“This month, we celebrate ten years of Africa Legal Associates (ALPi Ghana),” he said. “A decade ago, we founded ALA on the conviction that Africa deserves world-class legal and business advisory firms, built by Africans, for Africa.”
From its foundation in Accra, ALA has grown into the Africa Law Practice International (ALPi) Group, with offices in ten African countries and plans underway to open in Luanda, Angola.
The firm also has a presence in Georgetown, Guyana, serving Africa’s sixth region through CARICOM.
Otchere-Darko emphasized the firm’s philosophy; “We get it done.” He highlighted the firm’s recognition in the Legal 500 Global Rankings for Corporate & Commercial, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Dispute Resolution.
Tomorrow, the firm will host a high-level breakfast meeting themed, “From Accra to Africa: Turning AfCFTA Promise into Commercial Growth for Ghanaian Companies,” convening leaders from business, policy, finance, and law.
