Kofi Adams Outlines Preparations for Ghana’s World Cup Participation

MP for Buem Constituency and former National Organiser of the NDC, Hon. Kofi Adams, has detailed the steps being taken to ensure Ghana maximizes its participation in the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
He spoke on Okay 101.7 FM on November 26, 2025, during the program Ade Akye Abia, hosted by Kwame Nkrumah Tikese.
Adams revealed that an inter-ministerial technical committee has been inaugurated, bringing together key ministries to coordinate efforts and secure the best outcomes for Ghana’s participation.
He explained that smaller specialized committees have also been established, each with specific responsibilities to ensure efficient planning and execution.
“Some committees will handle funding, others will manage ticketing, visas, and travel arrangements,” he said.
“Another group will focus on technical matters, including coach selection, player preparation, fitness assessment, and monitoring squad readiness. We are leaving no stone unturned to ensure everything is organized for the World Cup.”
The MP emphasized that the structured approach is aimed at achieving both on-field success and off-field benefits for the country.
“We are doing everything in an orderly manner so that all aspects of our participation fall into place,” he added.
