Controversial content creator Izzy Ogbeide has made an interesting comment regarding children, challenging widely held religious and cultural beliefs.
In a recent post, Ogbeide stated,
“Children are not blessings, and they are not from God. Yes, I don’t care if you believe it or not. Children are from you, not God. They are not gifts. Children are an expensive subscription you can’t return or cancel.”
He emphasized that children are the product of human effort and responsibility rather than divine endowment.
“Children are what you make, they come from your hard work, not from God. What comes from God is something you don’t merit or work for.
“The Bible even says the blessing of the Lord adds no sorrow. Children bring responsibility, stress, and bills, so they are something you create.”
Ogbeide further highlighted the struggles faced by many parents who are unable to provide for their children.
“Do you know there are people who can’t even feed their children? They have to beg before their kids eat.
“If children were truly from God, He would first bless the parents whether they work or not before giving them children. You don’t get it? Or do you want me to speak in tongues before you understand?”
