Police Arrest 10 Suspects Seen in Viral Video Abusing Two Women at Wassa Dawurampong

The Western Central Regional Police Command has arrested ten suspects captured in a disturbing viral video physically assaulting two young women at Wassa Dawurampong in the Western Region.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by D.O. Boampong, Regional Police Commander, Western Central Police Command, Tarkwa.
The arrests were carried out by the IGP’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team, working in collaboration with the Western Central Police Command.
According to a police statement issued on Thursday, November 27, 2025, the suspects were seen in the video harassing and abusing the women over allegations that the victims had stolen money from a gold-buying shop.
Three of the suspects, Eric Donkor (alias Killer Block), 32, Yaw Gyimah, 29, and Edmond Nartey, 24, were identified as the individuals cutting through the victims’ scalps with a sharp razor.
Another suspect, identified as Tawiah (alias Awaga), who was also seen cutting through one of the victims’ scalps, is currently on the run.
Seven additional suspects, Stephen Amu (24), Farouk Balas (18), Mensah Bernard (18), Adu Baggeo (23), Bismark Nyarko (30), Akwesi Poku George (18), and Oteng Alfred (23), were also arrested for their various roles in aiding and abetting the assault.
The police say the suspects will undergo screening, with the main culprits expected to be arraigned soon.
Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to locate and support the victims, including providing medical care and other needed assistance. The Police Administration assured the public that it is committed to ensuring justice for the victims and bringing all involved to book.
The Western Central Regional Police Command strongly cautioned the public against taking the law into their own hands, urging citizens to hand over suspected offenders to law enforcement for due process to take place.
