Radio personality Akwasi Aboagye has announced his retirement from Radio.
The entertainment show host announced his exit while on the Entertainment show on Accra-based Peace FM.
He will say his final goodbyes to his audience on December 13, 2025.
The Darling Boy has not mentioned where he is headed after quitting radio.
In his words, he started at the University of Ghana’s Radio Univers in 1996 before joining Peace FM in Accra.
Akwasi Aboagye has been on radio for the past 30 years and has hosted diverse shows on various Despite media platforms in the country.
“Before this year comes to a close, I will be retiring as a radio presenter, so if you didn’t know, I am telling you today. I have been on Radio since 1996. In 1999, I joined Despite Media when we were starting. I just informed my managers that I want to retire, and they accepted my retirement. 13th December will probably be my last show,” he said while announcing his exit.
