Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh Dompreh, is optimistic that if John Dramani Mahama, after the 2016 defeat, was able to come back to power, then God will do the same for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Frank Annoh Domoreh was addressing party faithful at a campaign event on Monday, December 1, 2025, when he made this known.
“If the dead goat did not give up when he was booted out and worked himself back to power, I am standing on the word of God that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will come back and be voted as president of Ghana,” he said.
Annoh Dompreh believes that heaven has a plan for the former vice president and that God will make a way for him.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go to the polls on January 31, 2025, to elect a flagbearer. The party’s decision to go for early primaries is to douse the tension in the political party.
They believe that early primaries will help them mend all broken relationships and present a united front in the 2028 elections.
