Ablakwa endorses newly appointed presidential special envoys

Foreign Minister and North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa says government’s newly appointed Presidential Special Envoys will strengthen Ghana’s diplomatic engagements following a strategy session held earlier today.

In a statement shared on Facebook, Mr. Ablakwa described the meeting as a “great strategy session with our new distinguished Presidential Special Envoys.”

He congratulated Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, appointed as Presidential Special Envoy on Reparations; Dr. Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku, named Presidential Special Envoy to the Middle East; and King Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, designated Presidential Special Envoy to the Caribbean.

“They undoubtedly make our diplomatic team stronger and sharper,” he said, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver on the mandate given by President Mahama.

“I have profound confidence in their ability to meet the high expectations of President Mahama and the Ghanaian people.”

Mr. Ablakwa ended his statement with an optimistic call to action: “Let’s win for Ghana.”
